The days when I had wrinkles, age spots, and acne scars seem like a distant memory now, even though it was only 6 months ago now. I had acne scars that I could've sworn were a product of severe acne, because they stuck up about an inch off the skin and were extremely embarrassing. After all, when they stick up, there's no covering them with make up, unless of course you can somehow figure out how to pile an inch of make up all over and make your face look really fat while you're at it. I had age spots that were almost black they were so dark, and my wrinkles were getting deeper by the day. I have staved off aging for as long as I could, using moisturizers, hair dye, the right highlights, the right sunscreen, everything that you're supposed to do to your skin and everything to keep the gray in my hair from being noticed. But you can only do that kind of stuff for so long before you just look like an old wrinkly person trying to look young, which is never a good thing. At that point, you have to accept things as they are and live with it. I keep dying my hair, but have forgotten about the highlights, but I don't accept the skin wrinkling part of it. Instead, I've used Prototype #37-C, which has made my skin smooth and wrinkle free again. So I may look like an adult. But I don't have to look like one in mid life crisis mode. Not wearing clothes that my 16 year old niece would wear probably helps that venture too. But I am glad that I look 30ish in terms of my skin rather than 40 or 50.
